Attitude of Gratitude

How do I want to view the world around me? Today, I get to choose how I view my life. I can have an attitude of gratitude or I can live as a pessimist.

Why is this so important? Like so many other people, I have goals. I want to be better than I was yesterday. This starts with being honest with myself and how I have changed over 24hrs. This could be as small as the thoughts that first cross my mind when I wake up. In adopting an attitude of gratiude, I can use the small wins during my day to propel me forward towards my goals.

This was not how I always viewed life. I used to look at things as life is happening to me. Really, life is happening because of me. I’m 100% in control of my behavior and how I respond to the outside world.

Do I want to build my body or change my body composition? Do I want more authentic relationships with people? Do I want to have a stronger spiritual life? Am I unhappy with my finances?

I can change all of these! My ego however, got in the way for so long. It would tell me the lies like, “things aren’t so bad” or ”I’ll start that tomorrow“. LIFE IS RIGHT NOW!!!!! There is no time to put off your life and the vision you have for it.

Ask yourself what’s stopping you from moving forward. You don’t even have to talk to anyone about it. Just answer the question honestly to yourself in your heart of hearts. Once you have that answer, make a change and start moving.

You deserve happiness, joy, and peace! You deserve to feel happy with who you are and the skin you are in.

This is all up to you!!! You can change and one simple thing you can do is take a AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE.
